Save the Date KEYNOTE SPEAKER ANTHONY WILLIAMS


The Black Chamber of Commerce-Permian Basin (BCCPB) will host its “29th Annual Ebony Bar Awards” banquet on Saturday, November 10, 2018, 7:00pm at the Odessa Regional Hospital Community room. Each year the Black Chamber of Commerce honors a business person of the year from the community.  This year we will also recognize some of the community’s Senior Citizens who have reached ninety (90) years of age or more.

 

Our keynote speaker will be Mr. Anthony Williams of Abilene, Texas. The theme this year is: “Moving Ahead for a Better Tomorrow”. Anthony Williams is the Mayor of Abilene, Texas.  He was elected in June 2017 after serving 16 years as a City Councilman.


A native Abilenean, he is a 1987 graduate of Abilene High School and received a B.S. degree from McMurry University in 1993.   In his professional career, Williams is the Advancement and Executive Community Relations Officer at Abilene Christian University.
